This policy explains how we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email, password (hashed), role, display name.
• Profile data you choose to add: photos, bio, age, location, preferences.
• Seller payout data: bank or PayPal details.
• Transaction data: orders, memberships, payment status (payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store card or wallet keys).
• Messages and gifts exchanged in chat.
• Technical data: IP address, device and log data needed for security.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the marketplace and your account — contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Payments, accounting and tax — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Security, fraud prevention, age verification — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics and marketing cookies — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), revocable at any time via "Cookie settings".

4. Processors and transfers

We use hosting, database, email and payment providers (e.g. Supabase, Cloudflare, NOWPayments). Where data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep account data while your account exists, and transaction records for as long as tax law requires (typically up to 10 years).

6. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us at support@swedishknickers.com.

7. Minors

This service is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. We delete any account found to belong to a minor.
